Artwork Requirements:
All artwork must be submitted in accepted formats, not doing so may result in art charges.
- All files must be provided in the following vector based format:
Adobe Illustrator file (.AI), Vector (.EPS), Vector (.PDF) - All Fonts must be converted to outlines, or the font file provided
- All Colors must be converted to spot colors with PMS color indicated in the file
Art Requirements for 4 Color Process or Simulated Process:
- Web graphics CANNOT be used! They are generally very low resolution, which makes them unusable for screen printing.
- File resolution must be no less than 300 dpi at the size of final output, normally 12in x12in
- All files should be in a layered Adobe Photoshop format (.psd)
- When creating file, keep as a layered file, with background separate or clear from artwork.
File formats NOT Accepted:
Sending any of these files will result in an art recreation charge. Art charges are $25 an hour, minimum 1 hour.
- PowerPoint
- Word
- Excel
- Publisher
- or any other word processing program. These applications do not allow for separation of colors. We CANNOT use art created in these programs
Tips To Minimize Art Charges/Art Time
if Vector file cannot be provided:
- High Resolution .JPG, .TIFF, .PDF (minimum 300 dpi at final print size, normally 12in x 12in)
- if possible, art free of background (no color)
- Hand drawings, again scan in at High Resolution (minimum 300 dpi at final print size, normally 12in x 12in)
